Our Philanthropy:
Alpha Chi Omega - Delta Epsilon Chapter at Southeast Missouri State University, has a very intimate philanthropy. The Safehouse of Southeast Missouri is a local corporation and serves as a safe spot for men and women affected by domestic violence. Each year, we raise money to send towards their needs of supplies and improvements to their location. In 2020, we raised over $1,500 for the Safehouse, along with donations of hygiene products as well as clothing. Our money is raised through philanthropy events throughout the year, in which the community participates. The location is not given to the public as a safety concern, but we still have women within the chapter who apply to be volunteers, or interns. Domestic violence awareness is something very close to our hearts, as well as coordinating with Sexual Assault Awareness. Alpha Chi Omega also partners with RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) which is one of the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organizations.
